Professor Haim Bresheeth is a filmmaker, photographer and a film studies scholar, at University of East London since early 2002. His books include the best-selling Introduction to the Holocaust (with Stuart Hood, 2 reprints since 1997), the first version was titled Holocaust for Beginners (1993) and was reprinted a number of times; This title was also published in Turkish and Croatian translations, and is being translated into other languages.

Steve Goodman is a Lecturer in Music Culture in the School of Social Sciences, Media and Cultural Studiesat the University of East London. He runs the MA Sonic Culture and is currently writing a book entitled ‘Sonic Warfare’ due for publication on MIT Press 2009. The book is a theoretical investigation of the intersection between war and sonic culture.

Roshini Kempadoo lectures on digital media on the MA Multimedia and Media Studies undergraduate programme. She also works as a freelance digital practitioner and has degrees in Visual Communication and Photographic Studies. Her work uses digital technologies to explore visual anthropology, contemporary use of photographic archives within network environments and mapping colonial history, stories and locations.
